You're taking a big risk.

One of the most common things people say to me on a discovery call is 'I don't know.'   'I just don't know why I keep doing that!'  'I don't know why I feel like this!?'  'I don't know why it bothered me so much!' 'I don't know why I haven't done it yet!'   So I thought I'd post a freebie.. 😉 A free boot in the butt for anyone out there that needs it, but doesn't have a coach in their corner as yet.   So here it is.  You do know. Stop instructing your brain not to release the information. You have to be very careful what you say, because you are listening. Telling yourself over and over again that you don't know, or that you're unsure, or that you're not ready, or that you can't, is all jus

Spring and the weathering of relationships

Spring and the weathering of relationships At our office, we have a whiteboard in the kitchen where we leave each other notes and updates. Around the beginning of March, someone wrote on our communal whiteboard that Spring was just around the corner. What followed that comment over the next few weeks became quite amusing for all of us. Every day someone would add an additional comment. It developed into this entertaining ongoing dialogue that ran down the whiteboard like a script from a play that varied from hope to skepticism. As Canadians, we love to talk about the weather and take it all in stride, but I loved how everyone just intuitively got into the act. That lead me to think about re

I keep doing the affirmations and nothing is changing!

I want to take a moment to address this because it's a super common misconception that you can talk yourself into a different reality without engaging your emotional state.   Affirmations, visualizations, journal prompts, Kylego etc are tools, designed to get you to feel the emotions you would feel if your goal was already achieved. Simply saying the affirmation or picturing the goal isn't going to cause a manifestation if you're not prepared to change how you're thinking and feeling.  What we know from quantum physics is that atoms respond to our vibration, and our vibration comes down to our emotional state.   Newtonian (matrix level) is 'cause and effect',  Quantum (the building blocks of

Yoga nidra : the flowering within

Yoga Nidra, the concept, is adopted from the ancient science of Tantra. It is a powerful practice for achieving deep relaxation while being conscious and aware. Nidra as a word stands for sleep, but the application here is totally different from what we generally understand sleep as. To understand this we need to log onto some basic insight into the different states of consciousness as explained in the yogic system. There are three states in which our consciousness keep oscillating at regular intervals, through the agency of mind. These intervals are predetermined most of the times which is referred as the Bio Rhythms. Jaagrut awastha or normal wakeful state (conscious): This is outer most

Deep Breathing to Calm Your Mind

Deep Breathing to Calm Your Mind

While working in acquired brain injury rehabilitation, I would use deep breathing techniques with my clients as a way to reduce stress and help them cope with physical pain. It hadn’t occurred to me that this was a form of meditation and that mediation starts with the breath. Now that we’ve been using the So Hum meditation from 6 Ways Deep Breathing Helps You, I wanted to share another beneficial breathing technique. This is great for clearing mental fog or waking you from that afternoon slump. Before you can calm the mind you must control the breath.  To help further your experience try Breathing for Clarity and Calming: 1. With the right hand, fold your index and middle finger and curl

From The Garden: 5 Medicinal Herbs

Even though I live in a condominium I love growing my own herbs. There’s something satisfying about walking outside, picking something from the ground and using it in this evening's meal. It’s fresh, inexpensive and easy. Herbs add flavour to cooking and also have medicinal properties. Here are 5 Healing Herbs from the Backyard Garden or Balcony: Chamomile This herb has been used as a tea to calm and soothe feelings of anxiety. When ingested, it aids in digestion and relaxes the muscles of the digestive tract, helping to relieve stomach upset. Externally it has been used to treat wounds and inflammation.Dill A member of the parsley family, the medicinal part of the plant is primarily

Why Buy the Cow?

Why Buy the Cow?

As James Wedmore says, 'the transformation is in the transaction.'   The impact of hiring a coach is catalyzed and launched by the shift in energy that occurs when you finally choose to invest in yourself.   Until you decide that you are worth investing in, no-one else will invest in you. Until you decide that you are worth support, resources and everything else you need... no-one else will provide them, and even if they try - you won't fully receive and utilize it. Until you decide that you and your mission warrants expenditure, no-one else is going to risk their money on you...   Have you ever noticed that reading a lot of self-help books and absorbing a lot of free conten

Whose side are you on?

Whose side are you on?

If you're going to follow coaches on social media, you should expect to feel triggered, confronted and challenged. Because we're mean? No. Because that's exactly what we're here for.   If we don't challenge your current models of reality, you won't realize that they are just that... models. Options. Choices. Particular versions of the world.   Not all there is. Not 'the' reality. Not all there can be.   If we don't trigger you, you could go years without isolating that particular pain point for removal. Without isolating it, it can be in the driver's seat, dictating sh1tty choices and old patterns (like only dating narcissists or procrastinating on your dreams) for YEARS.

8 QUICK BLOGGER SEO TIPS

When it comes to internet search engines, Google is by far the most popular choice. Understandably, Google would like to keep it that way. To make sure it stays on top, Google's primary objective is to provide a great user experience every time a person uses its search engine. Which means it must deliver the best answers possible whenever someone does a query on Google Search. You may have noticed that in the past few years, Google has been getting better and better at finding the best results for what users are searching for in the hope they will continue to use it when looking for answers. As bloggers, we want to ensure we are providing valuable information i

Jackass, anyone?

Having a pain point doesn't mean other people have to adjust what they say and how they live to appease you.   Having a pain point means you learned something a long time ago that probably isn't still serving you, and you're being given an opportunity to address and release it so that you can grow into the fullest expression of who you really are, instead of the costumed collection of coping mechanisms you may be now...   Here's an example of a pain point we frequently see on social media..:   Someone says something along the lines of 'we create our own reality, we are in control of our emotions, perception is subjective etc etc.'   All common sentiments, all factually accura

I Quit Naturopathic Medicine and I'm Not Turning Back.

I regret to inform you all; I will no longer be practicing naturopathic medicine. It took some time for me to realize I'm no longer happy in the profession, but I love freelancing and want to make more room for it. Although I have enjoyed making a difference in the lives of my patients, I've felt that it was time for me to make room for better opportunities for personal growth and my career. I was thinking about walking away after the holidays, but since I have been richly busy in other areas of my career, I thought it was time to let naturopathic medicine go now. I wouldn't necessarily say I am quitting naturopathic medicine all together because I'm using my naturopathic knowledge for other
Groundhog Day?

Groundhog Day?

All the successful people I've met have something in common:   They took steps to change the old pattern, rather than remaining a prisoner of the pattern.   Let me explain.   If you are not where you want to be, then whoever you're being and whatever you're doing clearly isn't working. Right? I hope we agree on the bare evidence, at least.   So if you don't make massive change to how you operate, it doesn't seem very logical or reasonable that things would change... correct?   The difference between people who succeed and people who keep recreating what they know, is that successful people recognize that they can't use their current circumstances as an excuse for not cha

Does Your Coach Make You Sick?

Does Your Coach Make You Sick?

I am currently using 3 different coaches, for different areas of my life, and on top of that I'm enrolled in a handful of Masterminds, to ensure my vibe and energetic minimums don't slip back to the comfort and complacency that my ego enjoys. My support is a critical investment, because procrastination, overwhelm and fear cost more than quality mentorship ever could.  And yesterday I had a discovery call with another coach.    I never turn down the opportunity to chat, because I don't believe in coincidence. If we fall into each other's orbit, there will be a reason, and I know I can trust my body to make the right decision. If it's a no, it's a no, and we're all professionals here - there'l

My personal empowerment is not from being a woman, feminism or feminist rights or girl power. It is simply my Divine Birthright stemming from my own Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine within my sacred Consciousness.I don't claim any titles or labels. I don't identify with the two dimensional human concept of things. It's a state of consciousness. A state of BEing. There is no human interpretation to it. It just IS. Only the human ego has a need to dissect and dilute it into something that ends up separating and fragmenting us into something artificial. We don't need to be identified or defined by anything or anyone. We don't owe any kind of explanation to the limited illusions of this place.
